Naomi Oates

Naomi Oates married George Lofthouse Tatham in mid 1876, when she was aged 26 and George was aged 41. George was born in 1835 in Bingley, and died in mid 1901 aged 66. George had previously married Ann Hindle in 1861, and their children were Edmund Percy Tatham (b. 1868), William Edward Tatham (b. 1871, d. 1872) and Henry Clarence Tatham (b. 1872, d. 1884) [details from Terry/Spring family tree].

In 1881 Naomi and George were living at 129 High St, Horton, with Edmund and Henry (from George’s first marriage) along with George W (3), Claude A (2) and Florence W (0) from their union.

In 1904 Naomi emigrated to Canada. In 1911 she was living in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada, and in 1916 was living in Kellross. In 1922 Naomi travelled from Canada to Boston (aged 71), and then departed Liverpool (aged 72).
